George Akropolites

George Akropolites, Latinized as Acropolites or Acropolita (Greek: Γεῶργιος Ἀκροπολίτης, Georgios Akropolitês, 1217 or 1220 – 1282), was a Byzantine Greek historian and statesman born at Constantinople.
