FasTracks
The 2004 voter-approved FasTracks initiative will mark the return of the G Line. The G Line will run from a new station at RidgeGate Parkway, through stations at Lone Tree City Center and Sky Ridge Medical Center, along its former route past Nine Mile station. It will then follow a new route predominantly following Interstate 225 with stations at Iliff Avenue, Florida Avenue, Aurora City Center, 2nd Avenue, 13th Avenue, Colfax Avenue, Montview Avenue (on the Anschutz Medical Campus) and a co-located Peoria Street and Smith Road station with the East Corridor commuter rail service to Union Station and Denver International Airport. This service may start as soon as 2017.
