Originally written by Hiroyuki Hoshiyama and directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, Future GPX Cyber Formula ran from March 15, 1991 to December 20, 1991 airing on Nippon Television. The series has since aired in the Philippines by GMA for Hero TV. In 2003 the series was released in English by Bandai.
