Full Summer Pool - Water Levels

Water Levels

During droughts or water shortages, the water level can drop below full summer pool. Additionally, water levels may be lowered during the winter season below full summer pool to accommodate snowmelt or seasonally heavy rains.

During periods of heavy rain, the water level in the reservoir may rise above full summer pool to prevent flooding downstream.

Famous quotes containing the words water and/or levels:

“... You ought to have seen how it looked in the rain,
The fruit mixed with water in layers of leaves,
Like two kinds of jewels, a vision for thieves.”
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

Pushkin’s composition is first of all and above all a phenomenon of style, and it is from this flowered rim that I have surveyed its seep of Arcadian country, the serpentine gleam of its imported brooks, the miniature blizzards imprisoned in round crystal, and the many-hued levels of literary parody blending in the melting distance.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)
