Frost (album)

Frost (album)

Frost is the second studio album by Norwegian progressive black metal band Enslaved. It was released in 1994, through Osmose Productions. This album in particular is where the band started to incorporate Viking metal influences into their sound; indeed, the name "Viking metal" appears on the back page of the insert booklet, though the album's material was still speed-laden, violent black metal.

This would be the last album to feature drummer Trym Torson before he joined Emperor.

Famous quotes containing the word frost:

My long two-pointed ladder’s sticking through a tree
    Toward heaven still,
    And there’s a barrel that I didn’t fill
Beside it, and there may be two or three
Apples I didn’t pick upon some bough.
But I am done with apple-picking now.
    —Robert Frost (1874–1963)
