From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter is a 1999 American horror film that serves as a prequel to the 1996 film, From Dusk Till Dawn. It was released directly to video and was nominated for the Saturn Award's "Best Home Video Release" category. In late 2010, the production of a fourth film in the series was discussed, but, as of July 2012, further work on this possibility has not been revealed.

Famous quotes containing the words dusk, dawn and/or daughter:
“Hermann and Humbert are alike only in the sense that two dragons painted by the same artist at different periods of his life resemble each other. Both are neurotic scoundrels, yet there is a green lane in Paradise where Humbert is permitted to wander at dusk once a year; but Hell shall never parole Hermann.”
—Vladimir Nabokov (18991977)
“From the depth of the dreamydecline of the dawn through a notable
nimbus of nebulous noonshine,”
—A.C. (Algernon Charles)
“What I would like to give my daughter is freedom. And this is something that must be given by example, not by exhortation. Freedom is a loose leash, a license to be different from your mother and still be loved. . . . Freedom is . . . not insisting that your daughter share your limitations. Freedom also means letting your daughter reject you when she needs to and come back when she needs to. Freedom is unconditional love.”
—Erica Jong (20th century)
