Mayor of Stuttgart
On October 21, 2012 Kuhn was elected Mayor of Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg with 52.9% of the votes. He will begin his term as Mayor in January 2013. Stuttgart has a population of about 600,000 and is capital city of its Federal State, and it has been the first time for a candidate of German Green party to win in a city of such importance.
