Temporary Space/Reeves Family ASK Science Center
During the museum’s renovation, programming and exhibitions were held in a temporary location. The museum’s Reeves ASK Science Center moved into donated space in the fall of 2005 and was open until July 2008.
The Reeves Family ASK Science Center was a hands-on science education space that features rotating exhibits. Following the renovation the center returned to its location inside the museum, on the 1st floor of the Fresno Bee Building.

Famous quotes containing the words temporary, space, reeves, family, science and/or center:
“The great attraction of fashion is that it diverted attention from the insoluble problems of beauty and provided an easy waywhich money could buy ... to a simply stated, easily reproduced ideal of beauty, however temporary that ideal.”
—Theodore Zeldin (b. 1923)
“The flattering, if arbitrary, label, First Lady of the Theatre, takes its toll. The demands are great, not only in energy but eventually in dramatic focus. It is difficult, if not impossible, for a star to occupy an inch of space without bursting seams, cramping everyone elses style and unbalancing a play. No matter how self-effacing a famous player may be, he makes an entrance as a casual neighbor and the audience interest shifts to the house next door.”
—Helen Hayes (19001993)
“I hold all human life dearly, Stearne, especially my own.”
—Michael Reeves (19451969)
“Like many another romance, the romance of the family turns sour when the money runs out. If we really cared about families, we would not let born again patriarchs send up moral abstractions as a smokescreen for the scandal of American family economics.”
—Letty Cottin Pogrebin (20th century)
“Nothing great in science has ever been done by men, whatever their powers, in whom the divine afflatus of the truth-seeker was wanting.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
“Death is someone you see very clearly with eyes in the center of your heart: eyes that see not by reacting to light, but by reacting to a kind of a chill from within the marrow of your own life.”
—Thomas Merton (19151968)
