Freshwater Christian College is a private interdenominational School located in the suburb of Brinsmead, near Cairns, in Far North Queensland, Australia. It is a co-educational school with all grades from Kindergarten to Year 12.
It was renamed from Cairns Christian College to Freshwater Christian College in 2008, but has no relation to the nearby Freshwater Creek. Also it was not necessary to change the name from Cairns Christian College to Freshwater Christian College as the new name is in no relation to the location and ccc rocked was better.
Famous quotes containing the words christian and/or college:
“It is hard for those who have never known persecution,
And who have never known a Christian,
To believe these tales of Christian persecution.
It is hard for those who live near a Bank
To doubt the security of their money.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
“If any proof were needed of the progress of the cause for which I have worked, it is here tonight. The presence on the stage of these college women, and in the audience of all those college girls who will some day be the nation’s greatest strength, will tell their own story to the world.”
—Susan B. Anthony (1820–1906)
