Freedom Of Religion In Turkey

Turkey is a secular country per Article 24 of the Turkish Constitution. Secularism in Turkey originates from Atatürk's 'Six Arrows' of Republicanism, Populism, Laïcité, Revolutionism, Nationalism, and Statism. The Government imposes some restrictions on Muslim and other religious groups and on Muslim religious expression in government offices and state-run institutions, including universities.
