Free Sampler (Baboon)
Free Sampler is a promotional cassette by Baboon. It contains two tracks from the album secret robot control. It was distributed for free at live shows and in press kits by Wind-up Records in 1997.
The back of the cassette reads:
- "The four young men of Baboon hail from Denton, Texas and proudly present you with two of the reasons why they've become the state's premier cutting edge rock band. Taken from their new album secret robot control, "Night of the Long Knives" and "Numb" are the sounds of good ideas being ripped to shreds. Listening to Baboon, you're not sure whether to dance, mosh, hug your girl, or punch someone in the face.
- Get hip while their young bodies can still take the abuse!"

Famous quotes containing the word free:
“Our Germany’s dead. However hard this may be for some of us older people, it’s a blessing for our children. Our children grew up against new backgrounds, new horizons. And they are free. Free to grow up as children. Free to run and to laugh without being forced into uniforms. Without being forced to march up and down streets, singing battle songs.”
—Emeric Pressburger (1902–1988)
