Fred Stanfield

Fred Stanfield

Frederic William Stanfield (born May 4, 1944) is a former professional ice hockey left winger who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League from 1964 until 1978.

Stanfield played 914 career NHL games, scoring 211 goals and 405 assists for 616 points. He won two Stanley Cups with the Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972.

He was also featured on the 1974–75 Buffalo Sabres who lost in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Stanfield currently lives in the Buffalo, NY area, and owns an office furniture store. He is an active member of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association and recently played in an Alumni charity game to benefit an injured Buffalo Police Officer.
