Differences in Approach or Implementation Status
Some of the libraries have seen more extensive development than the Omega Library in the early 2000s, and in many places has much more sophisticated algorithms. In particular, users have reported good results with the Cloog code generator (both in terms of the code generated, and in terms of ability to control trade-offs when generating code), and with the algorithms for counting integer solutions (Alexander Barvinok's work requires a vertex description of the polytope, which is not supported in the Omega Library).
There are several other points on which the frameworks differ, specifically:

Famous quotes containing the words differences, approach and/or status:
“I trust the time is nigh when, with the universal assent of civilized people, all international differences shall be determined without resort to arms by the benignant processes of civilization.”
—Chester A. Arthur (18291886)
“F.R. Leaviss eat up your broccoli approach to fiction emphasises this junkfood/wholefood dichotomy. If reading a novelfor the eighteenth century reader, the most frivolous of diversionsdid not, by the middle of the twentieth century, make you a better person in some way, then you might as well flush the offending volume down the toilet, which was by far the best place for the undigested excreta of dubious nourishment.”
—Angela Carter (19401992)
“As a work of art it has the same status as a long conversation between two not very bright drunks.”
—Clive James (b. 1939)
