Fox Chase (SEPTA Station)

Fox Chase is the current terminus of SEPTA's Fox Chase Line. It is located just west of the intersection of Rhawn Street and Rockwell Avenue in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fox Chase Station, which has the largest number of parking spaces of any on the line (342), is the closest regional rail stop to the neighborhoods of Fox Chase, Bustleton, and Pine Valley, and Rockledge and Huntingdon Valley in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. SEPTA rebuilt the station area and ticket office in Summer 2010, using funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Famous quotes containing the words fox and/or chase:

    We follow where the Swamp Fox guides,
    His friends and merry men are we;
    And when the troop of Tarleton rides,
    We burrow in the cypress tree.
    The turfy hammock is our bed,
    Our home is in the red deer’s den,
    Our roof, the tree-top overhead,
    For we are wild and hunted men.
    William Gilmore Simms (1806–1872)

    The New York action painters want their pictures to jump off the walls and chase you down the street.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
