Forest Hall also has very good public transport connections, with frequent buses through the village centre. Newcastle upon Tyne city centre is approximately 15–20 minutes travel by bus.
Forest Hall is served by two Metro stations. Benton Metro station (about a half mile from the centre of Forest Hall) and Palmersville Metro Station (approximately a mile away).
