International Membership
The TRNC is an observer member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation under the title "Turkish Cypriot State". Northern Cyprus has been accepted as an observer to the Economic Cooperation Organization during the organization's latest summit in Baku, on 16 October 2012. It also is a member of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (Türksoy).
