Representative Football
Although they do not participate in any regular competitions, Football Federation Tasmania from time to time do select a Tasmania official football team, which represents the state. It comprises the best Tasmanian players, some of whom have historically played inter-state or in the national league. The Tasmanian side normally only play matches against visiting mainland or touring international sides.
