Flint (G.I. Joe) - Toys

Toys

Flint was first released as part of series 4 in 1985. Common elements of many of his appearances are his beret and his choice of a shotgun for a weapon. The figure was repainted and released as part of the Tiger Force line in 1988. In 1991, as part of the Eco-Warriors line, Flint's body was molded from color changing plastic, which would change to show sludge damage when hit with cold water. A new version of Flint was released in 1994, as part of the Battle Corps line.

A version of Flint with no accessories came with the Built to Rule Ground Striker in 2004. The forearms and the calves of the figure sported places where blocks could be attached.

Famous quotes containing the word toys:

    If, during his daily walk, he met any children flying kites, playing marbles, or whirling peg tops, he would buy the toys from them and exhort them not to gamble or indulge in vain sport.
    —For the State of Rhode Island, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

    Scarfs, garters, gold, amuse his riper stage,
    And beads and prayer-books are the toys of age:
    Pleased with this bauble still, as that before;
    ‘Till tired he sleeps, and life’s poor play is o’er.
    Alexander Pope (1688–1744)

    For should your hands drop white and empty
    All the toys of the world would break.
    John Frederick Nims (b. 1913)
