Publication History
Firebird first appeared in Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #265 (November, 1981). She was co-created by writer Bill Mantlo and artist Sal Buscema. She appeared as a member of the Rangers, and was the only member of the team who had not previously appeared in comics.
Not long after her first appearance, Firebird appeared several times in the West Coast Avengers title. She has appeared in several Avengers-related storylines since then.
