Preserved Aircraft
A Fi-156C-7 VD+TD (Luftwaffe) is preserved at the South African Air Force Museum, AFB Swartkop, Pretoria, South Africa. It was acquired by the South African Air Force in 1946, and is today, preserved by the SAAF Museum in airworthy condition, but seldom flown.
The Fantasy of Flight museum in Florida, is one of the very few aviation museums that has both a Storch and Piper L-4 Grasshopper in their collection, and reportedly both aircraft are airworthy.

Famous quotes containing the word preserved:
“Neither lemonade nor anything else can prevent the inroads of old age. At present, I am stoical under its advances, and hope I shall remain so. I have but one prayer at heart; and that is, to have my faculties so far preserved that I can be useful, in some way or other, to the last.”
—Lydia M. Child (18021880)
