Fenner Wind Farm - Today

Today

Today the Fenner Wind Project is one of three wind projects in Madison County. The first is the Madison Wind Farm, constructed in 2000, and the third is the newly developed Munnsville Wind Farm, built in 2007, both of which are located east of this site. Maximum power output from the farm is now reduced to 28.5 megawatts (see below section).

In summer 2007, NYS Assemblyman Pete Lopez conducted a wind tour in which the Fenner Farm was a stop.

Famous quotes containing the word today:

The late Président de Montesquieu told me that he knew how to be blind—he had been so for such a long time—but I swear that I do not know how to be deaf: I cannot get used to it, and I am as humiliated and distressed by it today as I was during the first week. No philosophy in the world can palliate deafness.
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)

There was a time when the average reader read a novel simply for the moral he could get out of it, and however naïve that may have been, it was a good deal less naïve than some of the limited objectives he has now. Today novels are considered to be entirely concerned with the social or economic or psychological forces that they will by necessity exhibit, or with those details of daily life that are for the good novelist only means to some deeper end.
    Flannery O’Connor (1925–1964)

What we’re saying today is that you’re either part of the solution or you’re part of the problem.
    Eldridge Cleaver (b. 1935)
