Telecaster Plus Modern Player
In 2010 Fender announced Fender branded Chinese instruments in the Modern Player series. Among the guitars in the series is a three pickup (HSS) configured Telecaster Plus. With a humbucking bridge pickup, Stratocaster middle pickup, and Telecaster single-coil neck pickup all controlled by a five way switch, plus a mini toggle for the coil splitting on the humbucker, the player has access to a huge range of tones. In addition there are the usual master volume and tone controls. Currently this instrument is available in either Honeyburst or Transparent Charcoal.

Famous quotes containing the words modern and/or player:
“Much of modern art is devoted to lowering the threshold of what is terrible. By getting us used to what, formerly, we could not bear to see or hear, because it was too shocking, painful, or embarrassing, art changes morals.”
—Susan Sontag (b. 1933)
“If God had an agent, the world wouldn’t be built yet. It’d only be about Thursday.”
—Jerry Reynolds, Sacramento Kings’ player personnel director. Quoted in Newsweek (New York, November 25, 1991)
