Telecaster Plus Modern Player
In 2010 Fender announced Fender branded Chinese instruments in the Modern Player series. Among the guitars in the series is a three pickup (HSS) configured Telecaster Plus. With a humbucking bridge pickup, Stratocaster middle pickup, and Telecaster single-coil neck pickup all controlled by a five way switch, plus a mini toggle for the coil splitting on the humbucker, the player has access to a huge range of tones. In addition there are the usual master volume and tone controls. Currently this instrument is available in either Honeyburst or Transparent Charcoal.
