The City of Boston has proclaimed that Friday, October 28th 2011 is "Felix D. Arroyo Day". In honor of his lifelong commitment to social and economic justice and the many racial barriers that he has broken.
His son, Felix G. Arroyo is a current Boston City Councilor At-Large as of January 2010.
