The Federal Police Department issues all agents graduating from the National Police Academy a Glock 17 or Glock 19 or Glock 26 according to the agent's preference. Other equipment include the M4 carbine, G36K, Heckler & Koch MP5, HK416, HK417 and the recent acquired H&K MG4.
