In August 2003, Fearless Music began taping artists in New York City.
The first episode aired on New York's local Time Warner Cable channel 35 on January 18, 2004. The episode was created using low budget closed circuit cameras typically used in security.
The show moved forward on Fox and its affiliates, airing on more stations beginning April 1, 2006. Studio lights and HD cameras were also installed for an improved look.
There has been a steady buildup in viewership and broadcast stations. Fearless Music presently airs in 200 cities in the United States, 350 college closed-circuit stations, and 36 countries—including Norway, China and Botswana.
