Famous quotes containing the words fear of, fear and/or flying:

The Government is able to afford a suitable army and a suitable navy. It may maintain them without the slightest danger to the Republic or the cause of free institutions, and fear of additional taxation ought not to change a proper policy in this regard.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

Let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
    Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882–1945)

Someone is always at my elbow reminding me that I am the grand-daughter of slaves. It fails to register depression with me. Slavery is sixty years in the past. Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)
