Foundation University Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences (FUIEMS)

The institute was established in December 1998. Following the grant of charter to the Foundation University, FUIEMS became one of its constituent institutes in October 2002. Prior to this it was affiliated with IBA and UET. FUIEMS has two faculties: Faculty of Engineering and IT, and Faculty of Management Sciences. This institute's Software Engineering Program is accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The Telecommunication Engineering Program, batches 2003 and 2004, has also been accredited by PEC.

A proposal for consolidation of the existing BS-Telecom Engineering program by changing its name to BS-Electrical Engineering and offering of the following specializations is under consideration:

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Telecom Engineering
  • Power Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
