Famous quotes containing the words fat, cat and/or records:
“To market, to market, to buy a fat pig;
Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
To market, to market, to buy a fine hog;
Home again, home again, joggety jog.”
—Unknown. To Market, to Market, to Buy a Fat Pig (l. 1–4)
“For I will consider my Cat Jeoffry.
For he is the servant of the Living God, duly and daily serving him.
For at the first glance of the glory of God in the East he worships
in his way.
For is this done by wreathing his body seven times round with
elegant quickness.”
—Christopher Smart (1722–1771)
“Although crowds gathered once if she but showed her face,
And even old men’s eyes grew dim, this hand alone,
Like some last courtier at a gypsy camping-place
Babbling of fallen majesty, records what’s gone.”
—William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
