Fanling Public School (粉嶺公立學校) is a primary school in Fanling, North District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is in Fanling Village (or Fanling Wai) and near to the MTR train station.
The school was founded about 50 years ago. Before that, being known as the "Sze Tak Study Hall" (思德書室), it used to be a traditional private school for the Pang's family in the village. The school is intended to service the children of Fanling Village only, although it has extended to all children living in North District now. The current campus, of a size of 12,000 square metres, is just next to the old campus, which has become a historical place. The comfortable, tranquil, and beautiful campus is an ideal learning environment for the students.
The current principal of the school is Mr Li Shui Bor (李穗波先生).

Famous quotes containing the words public school, public and/or school:
“A great deal of unnecessary worry is indulged in by theatregoers trying to understand what Bernard Shaw means. They are not satisfied to listen to a pleasantly written scene in which three or four clever people say clever things, but they need to purse their lips and scowl a little and debate as to whether Shaw meant the lines to be an attack on monogamy as an institution or a plea for manual training in the public school system.”
—Robert Benchley (18891945)
“The discovery of Pennsylvanias coal and iron was the deathblow to Allaire. The works were moved to Pennsylvania so hurriedly that for years pianos and the larger pieces of furniture stood in the deserted houses.”
—For the State of New Jersey, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
“Specialization is a feature of every complex organization, be it social or natural, a school system, garden, book, or mammalian body.”
—Catharine R. Stimpson (b. 1936)
