  • 1947 – Eric Faithful and Leonard Gould first formed their partnership in the UK, as they helped repair Bristol after it was heavily bombed in the Second World War.
  • 1960’s – Faithful+Gould expanded by opening new offices around the UK.
  • 1967 – Faithful+Gould worked with Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) to provide cost valuation and management services on all ICI sites in the UK – leading to yet more growth and further office openings.
  • 1975 – Faithful+Gould was involved in some mammoth projects, including the Selby Coal Pit.
  • 1983 – Faithful+Gould wins a contract with British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL) at Thorpe for a fuel re-processing plant – at the time, the biggest construction project in Europe.
  • 1990’s – Major acquisitions such as Silk & Frazier and Yeoman & Edwards expand the company further.
  • 1996 – Faithful+Gould join the Atkins Group, the UK’s largest engineering and design firm and the fourth largest multi-disciplinary consultancy in the world.
  • 2002 – Faithful+Gould purchase Handscomb in 2002, providing a strong springboard into the American market.
  • Present – Today Faithful+Gould is one of the world’s largest project and cost management consultancies, employing more than 2,000 staff with offices spread throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and India, North America and the Asia Pacific region.
