Fairleigh Dickinson University - Wroxton College

Wroxton College

FDU’s Wroxton College is a fully modernized 17th century Jacobean mansion that was once the home of Lord North, England’s prime minister during the American Revolution. Located in the heart of England, Wroxton’s bucolic campus is just minutes away from Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. Since FDU opened its British campus in 1965, Wroxton has been chosen as the overseas study site for students from more than 250 colleges and universities nationwide. In fact, the conversion of Wroxton Abbey into an FDU campus, made FDU the first American University to own and operate a campus outside of North America, lending the title "The Leader in Global Education".

Famous quotes containing the word college:

Thirty-five years ago, when I was a college student, people wrote letters. The businessman who read, the lawyer who traveled; the dressmaker in evening school, my unhappy mother, our expectant neighbor: all conducted an often large and varied correspondence. It was the accustomed way of ordinarily educated people to occupy the world beyond their own small and immediate lives.
    Vivian Gornick (b. 1935)
