Excalibur Rugby - Legends

Legends

In the 2009 season, Trent Excalibur was blessed with an honorary recruit. His strength and speed was enormous, and he ruled the rugby pitch with such ferocity that he was referred to as the Tyrannosaurus, in reference to the dangerous dinosaur that ruled the Jurassic Period with absolute power.

On September 9, 2009, the "T-rex" made his debut in an exhibition match against Fleming College. T-rex arrived on a white stallion, gleaming with an unexplainable aura. He stepped off the stallion, ripped its neck off and slurped the blood from that gushed from its throat, claiming it was "For the glory of Vishnu". Upon kickoff, he ran down the field with a certain swiftness that could only be paralleled with Achilles of Homer's Epic. He hit a player with such veracity that it severed the body tissue just below the player's lower abdomen, slicing him in half. The T-rex needed a blood sub for he was drenched in blood that was not his. While off the pitch, he decided to go to a Presbyterian Church on Simcoe Street. He convinced the priests there that Vishnu was in fact the true God and took the virginity of 14 nuns, who now currently work at the Hotel Royale strip club in Whitby, Ontario. He came back to the rugby pitch with 7 minutes left on the clock, Excalibur down 14-12. In this time he scored 12 tries and 6 drop-goals, one which was kicked while a Fleming player was still holding the ball, kicking him through the posts as well. On his way off the pitch, he smiled and pointed a finger at a six-year old child. This child grew an enormous beard overnight and is now known as Graham Abbott, current captain of the Excalibur rugby club.

The Trent Excalibur won the OCAA championship from the years 2009-2011 because the other teams were too fearful. T-rex arrives only to instill fear into other OCAA teams if they show up to challenge the Excalibur. There are rumours circulating that in the T-rex's off-season he resides on the peak of the Alteranean Mountains in Antarctica where he teaches illiterate polar bears and seeks to solve the global warming crisis.
