Every Time I Die

Every Time I Die is a rock band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. Their musical style is rooted in technical hardcore with strong southern metal and mathcore elements, and is also characterised by their cryptic, bitingly sarcastic lyrics. They have also garnered much critical and fan acclaim for their high energy, intense live shows. The band announced on July 14, 2008 that they had left Ferret Music and signed with Epitaph. Their sixth studio album, Ex Lives, was released March 6, 2012.

Famous quotes containing the words time and/or die:

For me, it’s enough! They’ve been here long enough—maybe too long. It’s a funny thing, though. All these years Fred was too busy to have much time for the kids, now he’s the one who’s depressed because they’re leaving. He’s really having trouble letting go. He wants to gather them around and keep them right here in this house.
—Anonymous Parent. As quoted in Women of a Certain Age, by Lillian B. Rubin, ch. 2 (1979)

    To die whole,
    riddled with nothing
    but desire for it,
    is like breakfast
    after love.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
