European Ponies
The European Pony Championships are held every year around Europe. There are qualifying rounds for this event, governed by your country's eventing body. It is for people aged 12 to 16 on ponies from 142 cm to 148 cm. A 1 cm leeway is given if the horse is shod, and 2 cm at competitions for 'hype'. It is run at Novice level and is run under FEI rules. It is a three day event, with two dressage days. This is a good way to get involved with the sport of eventing.
