He married the Hon. Anne Celia Wigram, (born 1945) the second daughter of Lt Col Neville Wigram, (2nd Baron Wigram), MC in 1973. They have three children: Alexander Clive Webb-Carter (born 1975), Helen Celia Webb-Carter (born 1978) and Rose Evelyn Webb-Carter (born 1983).
