Famous quotes containing the words european, diploma, protected and/or areas:

England is nothing but the last ward of the European madhouse, and quite possibly it will prove to be the ward for particularly violent cases.
    Leon Trotsky (1879–1940)

Our father has an even more important function than modeling manhood for us. He is also the authority to let us relax the requirements of the masculine model: if our father accepts us, then that declares us masculine enough to join the company of men. James Baldwin (1924–1987)

    Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1921–1990)
