Eskimo Joe - Fremantle Football Club

Fremantle Football Club

In April 2010, Eskimo Joe were announced as number-one ticket-holder for the Fremantle Football Club, replacing golfer Nick O'Hern. Quartermain joked that they might pen a club song, "We'll give it a crack. We're back here this winter writing our new record so, while we're at it, we may as well knock off a new theme song". The band held the honour until 2012, being replaced by Victoria Cross recipient Ben Roberts-Smith.

Famous quotes containing the words football and/or club:

...I’m not money hungry.... People who are rich want to be richer, but what’s the difference? You can’t take it with you. The toys get different, that’s all. The rich guys buy a football team, the poor guys buy a football. It’s all relative.
    Martina Navratilova (b. 1956)

At first, it must be remembered, that [women] can never accomplish anything until they put womanhood ahead of wifehood, and make motherhood the highest office on the social scale.
