Ernest L. Martin (April 20, 1932 to January 2002) was born in Meeker, Oklahoma who was known for his controversial works on archaeology in Israel with respect to the Temple Mount. Martin claimed that the site of the Al Aqsa mosque and Dome of the Rock incorrectly identified the true location of the Temple in Jerusalem.
