Ground Transportation
With the extension of tram No. 4 ("AirCombino") to the suburb of Bindersleben and a new tram stop having been opened in front of the airport (since June 21, 2005)departing ever 10–20 minutes, you can now reach downtown via Domplatz and the train station in about 20 minutes. The distance between the airport, which is west of the town, and the city centre is 5 km (3.1 mi).
