Entroncamento Municipality
Entroncamento is a Portuguese municipality in district of Santarém in the Médio Tejo (Middle Tagus) area of the Centro Region. As of the 2008 census, its population of 21751 inhabitants, occupy an area of approximately 13.8 square kilometres (5.3 sq mi), within two civil parishes straddling the Tagus River valley. Situated in the Ribatejo, it benefits from its geo-strategic position along the Tagus Valley, with important accessibility to the motorways and railway-lines that historically proportioned its growth and expansion.
