Entourage (TV Series) - Feature Film

Feature Film

In August 2010 when it was confirmed that Entourage would end after its eight season, creator Doug Ellin expressed interest in writing a film after the series ended. In September 2011, Adrian Grenier confirmed there would be a film, and a script just needs to be written first. Executive producer Mark Wahlberg confirmed that a film is in the works and said "I will do everything to get this film made". In June 2012, Wahlberg said the cast would be "traveling abroad" during production of the film, with it possibly taking place in Europe. In September 2012, it was confirmed that Ellin had completed the script and that it would take place six months after the end of the series.

Famous quotes containing the words feature and/or film:

The paid wealth which hundreds in the community acquire in trade, or by the incessant expansions of our population and arts, enchants the eyes of all the rest; the luck of one is the hope of thousands, and the bribe acts like the neighborhood of a gold mine to impoverish the farm, the school, the church, the house, and the very body and feature of man.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Television does not dominate or insist, as movies do. It is not sensational, but taken for granted. Insistence would destroy it, for its message is so dire that it relies on being the background drone that counters silence. For most of us, it is something turned on and off as we would the light. It is a service, not a luxury or a thing of choice.
David Thomson, U.S. film historian. America in the Dark: The Impact of Hollywood Films on American Culture, ch. 8, William Morrow (1977)
