Famous quotes containing the words bird and/or areas:

It all began so beautifully. After a drizzle in the morning, the sun came out bright and clear. We were driving into Dallas. In the lead car were President and Mrs. Kennedy.
    —Lady Bird Johnson (b. 1912)

The discovery of the North Pole is one of those realities which could not be avoided. It is the wages which human perseverance pays itself when it thinks that something is taking too long. Karl Kraus (1874–1936)
