Location
The station is named after the Emerson Park suburban neighbourhood in which it is located. It is situated on Butts Green Road in the London Borough of Havering. London bus routes 165, 256 and 370 serve the site of the station, providing connections to Ardleigh Green, Harold Wood, Hornchurch, Lakeside, Rainham, Romford and Upminster.
Nearby Hornchurch is served by the London Underground District line, however Emerson Park provides access to the National Rail network for passengers from the town.
