Accidents and Incidents
On 8 March 2006, an HS 748 Series 2a registered G-BVOV overran the runway at Guernsey Airport. There were no injuries. The cause of the accident was that the flight crew did not operate the propeller controls correctly, meaning that less drag was created than would have been had the controls been operated correctly.

Famous quotes containing the words accidents and/or incidents:
“I can forgive even that wrong of wrongs,
Those undreamt accidents that have made me
Seeing that Fame has perished this long while,
Being but a part of ancient ceremony
Notorious, till all my priceless things
Are but a post the passing dogs defile.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“An element of exaggeration clings to the popular judgment: great vices are made greater, great virtues greater also; interesting incidents are made more interesting, softer legends more soft.”
—Walter Bagehot (18261877)
