Elvis Knapman - Racing Career

Racing Career

Knapman had a background in kart racing and other racing forms that spanned many years before his time in CASCAR.

Elvis' first CASCAR race was on April 19, 2002, when he was 16 years of age, which made him the youngest driver ever to compete in a CASCAR-sanctioned event. He finished nineteenth. On May 24, 2002 he suffered serious injuries in a horrific 2 car crash while running in third position. He made a surprising return to CASCAR just over a year later at Delaware Speedway in Delaware, Ontario on June 13, 2003, finishing sixteenth, but hasn't raced since.

Famous quotes containing the words racing and/or career:

    Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941)

He was at a starting point which makes many a man’s career a fine subject for betting, if there were any gentlemen given to that amusement who could appreciate the complicated probabilities of an arduous purpose, with all the possible thwartings and furtherings of circumstance, all the niceties of inward balance, by which a man swings and makes his point or else is carried headlong.
George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)
