Electoral District Of Monaro
Monaro is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is represented by John Barilaro of the National Party of Australia.
According to the report for the 2004 redistribution of electoral districts, it is estimated that the electoral district will have 46,979 electors on 29 April 2007. At the 2007 election it will include all of the City of Queanbeyan, almost all of Palerang Council (including Bungendore, Braidwood and Captains Flat), a small part of Yass Valley Council (including Sutton), all of Cooma-Monaro Shire (including Cooma, Nimmitabel, Numeralla, Bredbo and Michelago), all of Snowy River Shire (including Berridale, Jindabyne and Adaminaby), all of Bombala Council and a small part of Bega Valley Shire (including Bemboka).
