Set
The set was a 63-space game board set up at the perimeter of a large arena. In addition to the main game path, there was a stage (two in the second season), a giant cage, a circular swimming pool in the middle of the set, and several large playing floors where the elaborate stunts were set up.

Famous quotes containing the word set:
“Anyone who seeks for the true causes of miracles, and strives to understand natural phenomena as an intelligent being, and not to gaze at them like a fool, is set down and denounced as an impious heretic by those, whom the masses adore as the interpreters of nature and the gods. Such persons know that, with the removal of ignorance, the wonder which forms their only available means for proving and preserving their authority would vanish also.”
—Baruch (Benedict)
“Never so rich a gem
Was set in worse than gold.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“What these perplexities of my uncle Toby were, tis impossible for you to guess;Mif you could,I should blush ... as an author; inasmuch as I set no small store by myself upon this very account, that my reader has never yet been able to guess at any thing. And ... if I thought you was able to form the least ... conjecture to yourself, of what was to come in the next page,I would tear it out of my book.”
—Laurence Sterne (17131768)
