Edwin Almonte (born December 17, 1976, in Santiago, Dominican Republic) is a pitcher, currently playing for the Schaumburg Flyers, which is a professional independent baseball team. He is 6'3", weighs 220 lbs, and bats and throws right-handed. He attended Seward Park High School in New York and the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
