Eduardo Bours

José Eduardo Robinson Bours Castelo (born December 17, 1956 in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora) is a Mexican businessman who served as Governor of Sonora under the Institutional Revolutionary Party, PRI. He is a member of the illustrious Robinson Bours family which immigrated from the United States in the 19th century. Before being elected governor, he served as Senator representing his state in the Mexican Senate. In 2003, he won the primary election with 51% of the votes. Later he was elected Governor of his state in July, 2003. His term ended in 2009 without the possibility of reelection.
