Jequirity Bracelet Recall
In December 2011 a recall was issued for bracelets sold at the Eden Project and other retailers across the UK that were made of the highly poisonous beans of the Abrus precatorius plant. The beads could potentially have been dangerous if ingested. The Eden Project offered full refunds for the bracelets, recommending that customers who had bought such bracelets over the past two years returned them.

Famous quotes containing the words bracelet and/or recall:
“I really think that American gentlemen are the best after all, because kissing your hand may make you feel very very good but a diamond and a sapphire bracelet lasts forever.”
—Anita Loos (18931981)
“I well recall my horror when I heard for the first time, of a journalist who had laid in a pair of what were then called bicycle pants and taken to golf; it was as if I had encountered a studhorse with his hair done up in frizzes, and pink bowknots peeking out of them. It seemed, in some vague way, ignominious, and even a bit indelicate.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
